Salvation - We Believe, Confess, Repent, and be Baptized by immersion as Christ commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).  See also Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 22:116 and Galatians 3:27

The reason for our existence is not to add to the many denominations already in existence. A divided church is contrary to the teachings of Christ and His apostles ( I Corinthians 1:10-11, John 17). The world will never be led to Christ as long as man-made teachings continue to be emphasized in the churches of today. The Christian Church has as its goal the restoration of the church according to the examples and teachings of the New Testament. Because this is our goal, we have been called by many "the Restoration Movement". We feel that if the church ever will be able to find unity, it will be on the basis of the Word of God and that alone. Therefore, we are trying to fulfill the desires of our Lord by laying aside all of man's opinions and doctrines, calling for unity solely on the basis of the teachings of the New Testament.

Communion - We commune with Christ the first day of each week  (Acts 20:7)

Christian Churches/Churches of Christ are not "reformers" but rather "restorers". We will not simply change to some extent the false teachings that have plagued the church for ages. Instead, we will restore the doctrine given in scripture.
